Volume contributor Dina Gilio-Whitaker recently published All the Real Indians Died Off (Beacon Press, 2016) with indigenous studies scholar Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. The book has been getting quite a lot of attention lately, including a coast-to-coast book tour and media engagements around the country. Volume under contract with Duke University Press!

We’re excited to announce that the Critical Surf Studies Reader is now under contract with Duke University Press! After some working and reworking of the volume, countless productive conversations with the lovely folks at Duke UP, and some great critical comments from collaborators and contributors, we’re now working through the final manuscript for submission in early 2016! Many thanks to all who have offered comments, levied questions, provided suggestions, and inquired about the project since its inception. We look forward to having the volume available soon!
