Norman Thompson – University of Hawai’i, Manoa (O’ahu, Hawai’i)
Norman “T-man” Thompson III was born and raised in Lā‘ie, Hawai‘i. In 2009, he graduated from Brigham Young University Hawai‘i with a bachelors degree in English, and obtained a Master’s degree, also in English, in 2012, from the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa. He is currently a PhD Candidate in English at the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa, focusing his studies on Pacific Literatures. Of Hawaiian, Sāmoan and Māori heritages, Norm’s research interests have always revolved around topics of the Pacific.
